I'm inherently in stockholm and wanna do some thing fun with The place i live in I start thinking about setting up a larm as sending a SMS every time someone open the door. but i found out it's shuld cost more then it's fun.
But i still have 3 arduinos, wirless transmitter and reciver in 433 Mhz and also ethernet shild.
This is what i gonna use for the first setup:
Arduino Tiny
Ethernet shild
Wireless trensmitter
Wireless reciver
Sun usb charger( with 1300mAh)hope thats enough
Magnet sensor
How it will work:
The ide is that, at the door i have the tiny arduino, magnet sensor, Wirless transmitter and the Sol charger.
I have no power close to the door so I hope the sun power will work even if the lap will power it up...
so when som one open the door the Tiny arduino send "1" to brodcast. hopfully the other arduino can range tath and convert it to a tweet and send "PING! @patadata" on twitter.
i still waiting on Sun charger and manget sensor.
What i have read about the magnet sensor shuld it be verry easy to setup! GND VCC and DATA and data is digital so 1 or 0 simple. vcc +3.3 - 5.
